Gaya Pind Daan
Pind daan as per Hindu belief is the ritual to offer prayers and food to the departed souls of the family member.
On the occasion Pitru Paksha Mela, numerous devotees across the world visit Gaya to offer pind daan to pay homage to the departed souls.
Pitru Paksha Mela is a religious gathering for the period of 16 days September – August in the monsoon season.
